UA CU has used imaging for a number of years now - I went into it kicking and screaming: cost was too high, didn't need it, blah, blah. But now I wouldn't go back to the old "file and hunt" system. In fact one of our concerns when we converted to CU*NW was if our system was compatible with the new system. Anyway, we ended up converting to Edoc - and it works great.
We have found the Edoc system to save us time, labor, research, and the beauty of having receipts at our finger tips whenever a member requests proof of a transactions. Examiners and auditors know that when they come to UA virtually everything they need is on our network and they no longer look at physical files. From our perspective, once a loan or IRA or CD is set up - the file is audited, scanned and no one touches it. No lost doc's, no lost files, very efficient and effective and staff has access regardless of where they are or how many look at it.
If you haven't thought about getting imaging - I highly recommend at least attending the meeting to see all it can do.
