Credit Unions can customize the default email message sent to a member when a Remote Deposit check is rejected by the CU.

    Description

    Credit Unions can customize the email message sent to a member when a Remote Deposit check is rejected. The email can include how the member can contact the CU, phone, email, and link to website.

    The following fields can be used in the email to the member: Serial Number, Amount, Rejection Reason, Rejection Explanation. You can use one or all the fields. Please note that Reject Explanation is a field that your team can enter the text for during the review process.   The following is a sample of a customized rejection email:

    Thank you for utilizing our Remote Deposit Capture services. Unfortunately, one or more of the checks you submitted could not be processed. 

    Serial Number:          1234

    Amount:                     100.00

    Reject Reason:          3rd Party Check

    Reject Explanation:   Check was not made out to someone on the account.
