eDOC Innovations (EDI), the nation’s leading CUSO for e-document strategies announced the release of CheckLogic™ Lite, the remote check image capture module of CheckLogic™. Innovating new ways for credit unions to serve their members in personal ways, CheckLogic™ Lite works as an “at home” solution to capture check images and data and then upload them to the credit union for automatic processing. CheckLogic Lite is designed to work in conjunction with CheckLogic™, eDOC’s Check21 solution for branch capture and transmission of check images and data, to be the credit union’s new front line for servicing members.

CheckLogic™ Lite is a high-quality, cost efficient, Internet based software solution for members of all kinds including merchants, churches, and natural person members, to make deposits from their homes or businesses. The concept is based on ease of access to the Check21 system at the credit union; a member simply places a check into a scanner at his/her location and scans the check using CheckLogic™ Lite’s advanced capture and electronic image/data forward processing. CheckLogic™ Lite’s intelligence informs the credit union of the pending deposit request and queues the transaction for authorization and transmission through the CheckLogic™ system. The several automated features make the process simple for the member and efficient for credit union staff.

“It used to be that credit unions could simply service their members by having lots of helpful people who really cared about them when they come into a branch. Now credit unions have to reach out and show that same commitment to members by making their services as convenient as doing transactions in their home, on their schedule, at their convenience. CheckLogic™ Lite is the ultimate way for doing this since members can now make check transactions in their own living rooms. It’s like moving the teller line into their house,” explains Jared Christiansen, Director of Sales and Marketing of eDOC Innovations. “In today’s volatile economic environment, credit unions with a strategy that includes in-home services are the only ones winning. And those that provide the most profound services will separate themselves and come out on top.”
