eDOC Innovations, the Nation leading e-document management CUSO, announced that CU*Answers, a 100% credit union-owned CUSO, which provides the enterprise data processing system, CU*BASE, will be implementing eDOC solutions for their CU*SPY reports and statements. As announced to CU*Answers’ clients in their 2009 Leadership Conference, CU*A will be utilizing eDOC solutions-specifically idocVAULT™ – in lieu of CoWWW Software for their new generation of online reports and statements.

idocVAULT™ is an online imaging system designed for automated storage and retrieval of electronically captured and stored documents, such as receipts, loan forms, signature cards, and photo IDs.  Images are securely processed and stored off-site and are available to credit union staff from any of their branches/office locations.  Members view their electronic documents stored in idocVAULT™ via their online banking or eDOC portal. idocVAULT™ bolsters credit unions service to their current members, while simultaneously building new member opportunities.  By utilizing idocVAULT™ under the hood of their CU*SPY solution, CU*Answers will provide enhanced security, availability and flexibility to their credit unions.

eDOC and CU*Answers are collaborative partners in the cuasterisk.com network, working together to provide competitive solutions and strategies for all their peers and clients. “By leveraging our investment and partnership with eDOC Innovations, we will have greater control of the software while keeping costs low,” Stated John Beauchamp, Electronic Document Strategies Manager at CU*Answers. “We anticipate proceeding with QC testing from now through November and then picking up with beta testing in November and December of this year. CU*Answers will schedule several client training sessions after the first of 2010 and we anticipate the live launch for all online clients to occur in mid-February 2010.”
