eDOC Innovations, CU*Answers, and Weltman, Weinberg and Reis teamed up to exhibit at the baseball-themed 2012 PCUA Annual Convention in Pittsburgh, PA this May. The convention gave the CUSO partners the opportunity to collaborate and network with over 275 credit union staff and volunteers, and also offered the opportunity to network with 13 Chapter Youth Ambassadors.

One notable event for the Ambassadors was the PCUA’s 36th Annual Credit Union Youth Ambassador of Pennsylvania Contest, in which each Youth Ambassador participated in a public speaking forum on a topic they felt was important to credit unions. The Chapter Youth Ambassadors represent up and coming youth involved in building the future of the credit union movement.

Carol Middaugh, Regional Sales Manager for eDOC Innovations and Credit Union Development Educator comments, “Many of the recent credit union leaders have or will be retiring in the next five years and we need leaders with the same passion for credit unions to continue to lead the credit union movement into the future.  I was very impressed with the poise, professionalism, and passion of the 13 Youth Ambassadors that competed.  It is reassuring to know that we have young up and coming leaders who understand the core values of the credit union industry, and the vision to carry on the success of credit unions into the future,” comments Middaugh, a 30 year veteran of the credit union movement.

Jimmy Kroll, Harrisburg Chapter Youth Ambassador, and Technology & Marketing Specialist at Hershey Federal Credit union was the winner of the $25 Visa Gift Card presented by eDOC Innovations and CU*Answers.  Other winners included: Wendy Kingsland, CEO of Visionary FCU, Patti Columbe, CEO/Treasurer of Keystone United Methodist Federal Credit Union, and Deb Wolfson, VP/COO of Riverset Credit Union.
